Peter Gurovski

Peter founded RoomFour in 2012, having found a gap in the market for beautiful quality homes that stand the test of time. Prior to registering the business, he was involved in the building industry as a developer and business owner of a joinery company.

At RoomFour, Peter uses his extensive knowledge to guide clients through the construction process, bringing together an expert team who are dedicated to delivering outstanding custom homes, renovations and extensions.

Peter has a particular interest in sustainable homes, recognizing that the biggest contribution to CO2 emissions is when a building is first constructed. By building beautiful homes, or preserving outstanding existing homes, these buildings are less likely to be torn down, ultimately reducing our carbon footprint.

In order to find a company to do the renovations on my 110 year old Edwardian Workers Cottage in inner western Melbourne, I did a lot of research.I found Room4, and they seemed competent. But they were much better than competent. Peter and Michael explained all steps and aspects of the renovation process, including the likely problems we could find. They went out of their way to assist me, and they kept me informed in detail. They aimed for excellent quality while keeping to my budget. Their suggestions were always clever and helpful.I am so happy with the results, and my house is much more functional and modern, but still works in terms of keeping its cultural identity. I would recommend Room4.
