This project involved a full rear extension of the home, including the addition of a pergola and a comprehensive interior renovation. The updated interior features a brand-new kitchen, two bathrooms, a refreshed living area, and an upgraded hallway.
A standout feature is the large upstairs patio, which doubles as a roof structure and frames a stunning view of the tree-lined reserve behind the home. An integrated planter box was custom-built into the balcony, serving a dual purpose: to enhance the entry with greenery and to address overlooking concerns in line with Australian ResCode requirements.
The hard landscaping throughout the property was redesigned to complement the extension, including the addition of a new deck and outdoor barbecue area—perfect for entertaining and enjoying the rear outlook.
One of the main challenges of this build was working with the sloping block at the rear of the property, which required careful planning and execution. The kitchen and vanities were crafted with natural marble stone, 2-pac finishes, and fitted with premium Miele appliances.
